Queen Mary Tableware/Service
Over seventy years ago, someone walked into Birks on Sainte-Catherine Street and chose these twelve bone china cups as an engagement gift to mark the beginning of a life together.
Made in England, the Paragon company’s Queen Mary service is distinguished by its dark blue border, its golden laurel flowers, and bouquets at the bottom of the bowl. Such a fragile gift, yet one that was designed to last and symbolize the strength of a welcoming home.
These soft-paste porcelain cups have survived decades, remaining unbroken thanks to careful hands. The Museum now oversees their preservation, and your support makes this possible.
Giving also means choosing to protect essential artifacts for our future generations.
