ABOUT THE LOVE UNEARTHED CAMPAIGN

At the Museum, each artifact, each relic, and each historical figure has a different story to tell: a story of attachment, of community, of fascination… in other words, a story of love, buried deep within!

Through this campaign, we are encouraging you to support the Museum with a donation, and to thereby rediscover the invisible connections that, woven together, make up Montréal. Our appeal is a joyful, informative, and unifying one, based on objects in the Museum’s ethno-historical collection. Having launched our campaign in the fall of 2025, our goal is to raise $75,000 by August 31, 2026.

Steps

1. You receive an email invitation asking you to choose from 6 carefully selected items, each referring to a different form of love.
2. You explore these various objects on this mini-site, choosing one that you find to be the most moving, then selecting the amount of a donation you wish to make in support of the Museum ($25, $50, $75, or $100).
3. Within 48 business hours, you will receive a personalized virtual card, created especially for you, based on your donation level.
4. Share your selected favourite object on Instagram and send a testimonial by email to fondation@pacmusee.qc.ca or by message on Instagram at fondation_pac.

Since 1993, the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation has been mobilizing those who believe in the unifying power of Montréal’s heritage and who wish to help raise awareness of it.

A Visionary Foundation

A registered charity*, the Pointe-à-Callière Foundation is entirely dedicated to the Museum’s development, promotion, and vitality. Its five-person team works to rally the community around Pointe-à-Callière’s mission and to gather the resources necessary for the preservation, education, and dissemination of Montréal’s heritage.

Our success is built on the commitment of a dedicated team of volunteers and a passionate 18-member board of directors. Together, they form a vital support community, allowing the Museum to continue to innovate and further its cause.
